Information

National Commissioner for the BOSTON 2026 appointed.

BOSTON 2026 is sanctioned by American Philatelic Society (APS) in accordance to Fédération Internationale de Philatélie (FIP) General Regulations for Exhibitions (GREX).

BOSTON 2026 is managed and run by the Corporate Board and Organizing Committee of Boston 2026 World Stamp Show, Inc.

The exhibition will open on May 23 and close on May 30, 2026. Note that Monday, May 25, 2026, is Memorial Day, a federal public holiday.

The exhibition will be held at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC) in Boston, Massachusetts, USA. Approximately 4,000 exhibition frames will be available.

BOSTON 2026 is a World Exhibition with the Recognition of the Fédération Internationale de Philatélie (FIP).

The following regulations shall be applicable to BOSTON 2026:

  • The General Regulations of the FIP for Exhibitions (GREX),
  • The General Regulations of the FIP for the Evaluation of Competitive Exhibits at FIP Exhibitions (GREV),
  • The Special Regulations for the Evaluation of Competitive Exhibits at FIP Exhibitions (SREVs),
  • The Individual Regulations of BOSTON 2026 (IREX) (Article 3.10 of GREX).

We are pleased to announce that with the efforts and proposal submitted by PCI, the “FIP Medal of Appreciation for Exceptional Jury Service” has been conferred upon and awarded to Mr. Ajeet Raj Singhee, Past President – PCI.

The Philatelic Congress of India (PCI) is the National Philatelic Federation of Philatelists and Philatelic Societies in India. It was formed in a Preparatory General Body meeting held in Calcutta (Kolkata) on 29th December 1975 during the National Philatelic Exhibition INPEX-1975. PCI was established as a National Federation in consultation and association of the Department of Post (DOP).

It was agreed and as a general practice followed that philatelic activities shall be carried out by DOP in consultation with PCI. The Philatelic Advisory Committee (PAC) was formed as per the recommendation of PCI.

Jakarta 2024 Asian International Stamp Exhibition will be held at Pos Bloc, Jakarta from 3 to 7 July 2024. It will display about 1.200 frames for Competitive classes : FIAP Championship, Traditional, Postal History, Postal Stationery, Aerophilately, Astrophilately, Thematic, Maximaphily, Revenue, Modern Philately, Picture Post Card, Open Philately, Youth Philately, One-Frame Exhibit and Literature. Also booths dealer from international and domestic.

PCI Programme for 2024.

Philatelic Congress of India (PCI), the National Philatelic Federation of India, is pleased to announce the launch of its Programme for 2024.

1. Philatelic Recognition Awards 2024: Nominations are requested from the PCI registered institutional members for submitting individual member’s application and detailed proposal for –

a. Philatelic Ratna Award
b. PCI Fellowship
c. Certificate of Appreciation
d. Appreciations for Philatelic Societies

2. Recognition to officials from the Department of Posts: Nomination names of DoP officials for consideration of such PCI Award of Appreciation. The applications may preferably be submitted by the affiliated institutional member of PCI, or an individual member certified through the institutional member.

3. PCI International Webinar Series: International Webinar Series on following philatelic classes. Traditional Postal Stationery Postal History Revenue Thematic for Speaker Selection and eligibility details are published on the PCI website. Any PCI member or member of its institute can attend these Webinars.

4. Fresh call for nomination for Jury and commissioners: Applications submitted earlier will be eligible for selection and may apply again. Applicants shall be evaluated by a competent committee appointed for this purpose.

5. Jury Training Programme: In-depth philatelic class-wise Jury training programme for all Jury members and senior philatelists.

The training programme would be shared separately.

Commissioner for EFIRO 2024 FIP Specialised World Exhibition.

EFIRO 2024 INTERNATIONAL STAMP EXHIBITION, EFIRO 2024 with a capacity of 2000 display frames, is organized by the Romanian Philatelic Federation under the Patronage of FIP from Apr 16 to 19, 2024 at the National Library of Romania, Bucharest, Romania.

Classes available for participation are: Traditional, Postal History, Postal Stationery, Aerophilately, Astrophilately, Thematic, Maximaphily, Revenues, Open Philately, Picture Postcards, One Frame, and Philatelic Literature. Plus, a new Experimental, Class 12 -II, for 2 or 3 Frames exhibits.
