Membership Information
Institutional Members:
A Philatelic Society having 25 or more members will be eligible to become an Institutional Member of the Congress. The new members will be required to pay an admission fee of ₹. 5000.
An annual subscription calculated at the rate of ₹. 50 in respect of each of its members, subject to a minimum of ₹. 5000 and a maximum of ₹. 15,000 per annum shall be payable by all existing and new Institutional Members. The annual subscription for every membership year, along with a certified hard copy of the list of members and office bearers (with contact details) shall become due on 1st April of the relevant financial year.
Associate Members:
Any person, who is resident in India or an institution in India, other than that specified in sub-para (b) above, interested in the art and science of philately shall be entitled to become an Associate Member of the Congress on payment of an admission fee of ₹. 500 and an annual subscription of ₹. 1,500 per annum. The admission fee shall be treated as contribution to the Corpus of the Congress. The annual subscription for every membership year shall become due on 1st April of the relevant financial year. An associate membership will cease automatically on being in arrears of subscription or other dues for more than one year.
Life Membership:
A Philatelist, who is resident in India, shall be eligible to be a Life Member of the Congress on payment of a consolidated membership fee of ₹. 20,000 payable with the application. The Senior Citizens of age 65 years and above will be allowed a rebate of 20% on the membership fee only on consolidated payment.
Payment in Instalments – The membership fee may also be paid in three instalments, ₹. 10,000 along with the application, second instalment of ₹. 5,000 payable at the end of first year and third instalment of ₹. 5,000 payable at the end of second year of the membership. In case the above membership fee including all instalments is not paid within 4 years of the approval of the Life Membership, the Life Membership will stand cancelled and the entire amount received will be forfeited.
Overseas Membership:
A Philatelist, who is a non- resident in India, shall be eligible to be a Life Member of the Congress on payment of a consolidated membership fees of US$ 700 or its equivalent in foreign exchange with the application for membership.
The new subscription has been approved by Governing Council meeting held on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. It will be in effect from Monday, 1 April 2024.
Note: Admission to membership shall be subject to the applicable rules, verification and approval by the Governing Council which shall have the right to accept or reject the same. Membership fees and subscriptions are subject to change.

Note:
(i) The Membership Directory is confidential and for the personal use of the Individual Member of PCI only and should not be copied or circulated to any other person.
(ii) The Data published in the Membership Directory is based on details furnished by the individual member for sharing amongst members. In case any Member would not like to share his information, the concerned member may send a request in writing to the Secretary-General, PCI, for deletion of such information from the said List.
(iii) The request for any change, correction or updation of details in the Membership Directory should be made by the concerned member in writing to the Secretary-General, PCI.
