Recipients of FIP Awards

The FIP MEDAL FOR SERVICE, the most prestigious recognition award of the FIP, was presented to Shri D. N. Jatiaji in the 65th FIP Congress, held during the ITALIA 98 FIP exhibition, on 01 November 1998 in Milan. It was in recognition of his exceptional services to the FIP, as its Board Member for 18 years. The sole criterion for awarding the medal is exceptional service to organised philately at the international level, normally of a continuing, long-term nature. He was also conferred with the Honorary Membership of the FIP.
